Located just four miles from the ocean, Oliver’s Vineyard is made of sandy clay loam soil, producing a balanced, coastal Chardonnay with notes of saline in aroma and flavor. The vineyard, planted in Edna Valley in 1991, is named for Oliver Talley, the founder of Talley Farms and the first generation of Talley Farmer. On the nose, white peach, nectarine, vanilla, jasmine, and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, yellow apple, grapefruit, and bergamot, followed by a supple finish.
